Lionbridge had the great idea to celebrate its anniversary with food. It does not sound too surprising but it was in a very special way. We had a recipe contest in all of our offices and the best recipes, chosen by a committee of “lions” (Lionbridge employees), were published in a book called A Taste of Lionbridge. It was a really fun party, especially for me the creator of a winning recipe. Although my recipe was published, I did not win the final prize, a one week trip to one of the cities where Lionbridge has an office. I have to confess I had dreamed of going to Beijing and visiting the Great Wall. Not this time. The book is a collection of recipes from 26 cities in 22 countries, the footprint of Lionbridge in the world. It was published in the language of each country and in English. Each office held a food taste of all the amazing dishes that entered the competition. Quite a party. All recipes came with a brief explanation of why they were special.
Starting today, we will publish in this blog a recipe from the book twice a month. We will start with the recipes from Seoul, Korea, and then will follow the requests of our readers. The countries are:
Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Make your choice and let us know which recipes you want to see next in the comment field.
